"People must be treated like people now, not when they have earned it." That is utterly unAmerican, unconstitutional and completely moral. The American Way, since the country was founded, is based on the belief that no-one deserves anything they haven't worked for. Unless they're wealthy, which makes them part of the ruling class, and so deserving of all kinds of privileges.
